DiCara & Farris, LLC was founded on the philosophy that a lawyer should offer skilled guidance, advice and counsel to help clients through the milestones in their life.  We take our roles as advocate, advisor and counselor seriously.  At DiCara & Farris, LLC we believe every client is unique and needs to be treated as an individual.  We understand how important their legal situation is to them. Attorney Phyllis M. DiCara

Since her career began in 1982, Attorney DiCara has focused on the legal needs of individuals and their families.  After working as an associate and partner, Attorney DiCara opened her own practice in 1993. In 2021 she has partnered with Attorney Farris and is excited to continue to help individuals and their families through life’s milestones.

Attorney DiCara has learned through the years that, as similar as people and circumstances may be, each person carries their own individual desires and needs.   She respects each client’s uniqueness and individuality; always searching for options for you.  Attorney DiCara will make sure you are fully involved in the legal process to find the course of action that works best for you and your family.

Attorney Farris partnered with Attorney DiCara in 2021 to form DiCara & Farris, LLC. Attorney Farris has practiced family law from the beginning of her career in 2006. Family law clients are unique as they require a lawyer who can handle the legal and emotional components on their case. Attorney Farris offers clients practical advice to guide the case forward without incurring outrageous legal fees.

Attorney Farris began her career in Massachusetts at South Coastal County Legal Services, Inc. representing low income clients in eviction actions and divorce.  She also was engaged in legal outreach to the homeless in Barnstable County.
